No doubt after Sankranthi, summer is the best season for releases and in addition to Ugadi releases, Jil and S/O Satyamurthy, sources say that Dancer turned filmmaker Lawrence has completed the shooting of Kanchana 2. Taapsee plays the female lead in the film which is gearing up for a release on 17 April while first look would be out on 16 March. Talented actress Nithya Menon is essaying a cameo role. Thaman composes tunes for this film which comes out of Lawrence’s stable after quite some time.
