JP Failing In Kollywood

Jagapathi Babu is one of the most in-demand character artists in Tollywood with good success rate. Films like Legend, Nannaku Prematho, Srimanthudu etc. were turned blockbusters. However, the same man is failing to make his mark in Kollywood, despite being offered some prestigious projects of star heroes.

Jagapathi Babu had played one of the lead roles in Arjun co-starred Sivakasi which was a debacle. Then, he played a negative role in Vikram’s ‘Sivathandavam’ which also failed at BO. JP shared screen space with none other than superstar Rajinikanth in Lingaa which met with the same fate.

Jagapathi Babu played main villain in Vishal’s last outing ‘Okkadochadu’. The Tamannah co-starrer film disappeared from theaters in its very first week without a trace. The ‘Maavidakulu’ star was last seen in Vijay’s much hyped film Bairavaa which is turning out to be a flop.

Jagapathi Babu scored hit with his maiden Malayalam film Manyam Puli which co-starred Mohanlal, but his wait for right film in Tamil still continues…
