Nithya Menon a very Happy Birthday

So, it is something I am going to go through for now. It's not like if I am not an actress, I will cease to exist or something. So that way, whether it's there or not, it's ok.”

This statement made in an interview to a Newspaper sums up what Nithya Menon is all about. She is just 26 years old and she has done close to 36 films in all the 4 south Indian languages,in a career spanning almost 10 years which is great track record for a heroine .Also for the fact that she has no big ticket films with any of the major heroes , which she herself rejected as she could not relate to the character ,something which could be considered as professional hara-kiri in the Telugu Film Industry .But that hasn’t bothered her either & hasn’t stopped her from getting roles in Telugu movies. She has carved her place and has given successive hits in every film she has acted.

A director’ delight, she has no starry airs , neither is she dressed nattily like the other heroines who have stylists and designers to help them with their personalities and yet she can be described as one of the prettiest girls with her flawless skin and curly locks. And she sings beautifully and dubs her own voice . A rare combination to find these days.

Once in an event Nandamuri Balakrishna called her the next replacement to the Late Soundarya and had she been few inches taller he would have given the role of Sita to her in the movie Sriramarajyam. Now that’s a compliment from a top hero who has been acting since 40 years.

With a new film titled Run Raja Run with Sharwanand , we will get to see her soon on the big screen this 2014.
