Fans Vandalising Theatre Screens during special shows

Fan shows are always a thrilling experience. The thrill of watching a big hero movie surrounded by a large crowd is unique. However, this has recently become a major source of concern for exhibitors. Fans in Chennai tore the screen while watching Dhanush's new film Thiru on Thursday.

Dhanush also watched the show with his fans, and the energy was palpable. However, after Dhanush left, the crowd became agitated and tore the screen, upsetting the theatre owners.

This is not the first time this has happened; just a few days ago, during a Pokiri fan show, fans vandalised the screen and seats at a theatre in Kakinada, forcing the association to cancel future fan special shows.

It has long been a tradition for fans in both Telugu states to enjoy special shows. However, with such tense situations and losses to the performers, there is concern that this tradition will be discontinued soon.
