Dulquer Salmaan exerts his authority in Kaantha

Dulquer Salmaan, the multi-lingual star actor, completed 13 years of his career. He had started producing his films and choosing even different scripts from routine. He has fallen in love with period genre as after Lucky Baskhar, he is again coming with a period film.

This time, the film is set in 1950s Madras and after Mahanati, he will be seen playing a character from the time period. Dulquer Salmaan has been able to bring back MGR and Sivaji Ganesan style in the movie, Kaantha. The black and white still does prove the fact that he is brilliant in understanding the character.

Kaantha is directed by Selvamani Selvaraj and produced by Rana Daggubati in association with Dulquer Salmaan, Prashanth Potluri, Jom Varghese. The multi-lingual film has Bhagyashri Borse in leading lady character with Samuthirakani in another prominent role.
