Varma's Wrong Timing: Kamma-Kapu Dialogues

Sharing pictures of the actor who is going to play the titular role of Vangaveei Radha in his upcoming film "Vangaveeti", director Ram Gopal Varma created a sensation. Not stopping there, his tried to create maximum hype by making few 'insensible' comments.

"Kammavaalla manasthatanni ardham chesukune thelivunnavalle arhatha vunna nijamaina kaapulani chepparu", posted Varma, on his twitter page. (To understand the mentality of Kamma caste people forms the core of intelligent Kapu guys, said Vangaveeti Ranga to RGV). Well these dialogues are not going well with many Kapus and Kammas equally. At an age where every educated youth is trying hard to blur such (racist maybe) differences, why a talented director like Ram Gopal Varma is trying to fuel the fire and cash on it?

Also at a time when Andhra Pradesh looked little unsettling with Kapus fighting for their BC status, RGV's film and his conclusions about Kamma (ruling party), Kapu equations is highly unadvised.
