Dhruva has already done highest business for Mega Power Star Ram Charan in USA. The movie is expected to cross 1 million mark mostly by Monday or Tuesday. Fans are happy for their hero entering the elite club.
On the flip side, overseas distributors are in tensions whether the film will cross the breakeven figure of $1.5 million or not. Seems like, reaching the big sum is quite tough since heavy drop in collections was witnessed on Sunday, and Monday bookings are also said to be minor.
It may be mentioned here that, Dhruva overseas rights were sold for whopping Rs 5.5 crores, excluding prints and publicity.
A shocking revelation is one local theatre has reported aberrantly high amount on Saturday. $1,260, $1,026, $725 were the numbers (gross) on Thursday, Friday and Sunday respectively. But, the theater reported a gross of $23,925 on Saturday.
Rentrack figures are believed to be genuine. But, the Saturday number from that particular theater diminishes trustworthiness on Rentrack system.
