After watching films like Ye Maya Chesave and Dookudu, one can’t lay back without appreciating the magical base voice of Samantha, which has a huge magic surrounding it. Popularly known as Samantha’s soul, singer Chinmayi Sripada is the lady behind that voice.
Getting busy in Bollywood circuits these days, Chinmayi is carving a niche for herself there. After singing a hit song like “Titli Dil” in Chennai Express before last year, she’s now hitting with another interesting number. For the first time ever in her career, Chinmayi sang an item song, the one “Mera Naam Mary” for Akshay Kumar’s upcoming movie “Brothers”. Though the song’s tune hasn’t been a big hit everywhere, somehow the voice managed to grab attention.
It’s known that Chinmayi recently got married to hero Rahul Ravindran and she continues to dub for Samantha all the time.
