Burning stars director injured

Hrudaya Kaleyam (Heart of Liver), movie director Steven Shankar was assaulted in the Westin Hotel near Hitech City in Hyderabad last night. According to DCP (Madhapur) Kanthi Rana Tata, Steven Shankar and Sampoornesh Babu went to the Westinhotel to celebrate the film’s success. After some time , Steven Shanker went to the washroom. A youngster named Ranjit, who was also in the washroom picked up an argument and chided him over the movie and the hero Sampoornesh Babu and in the heat of the moment, Ranjit assaulted Shankar, he explained.

The police registered cases under Section 324 (causing hurt) and 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation) of the IPC against the accused.Looks like Sampoo and Stevens tryst with attracting Media attention heading the wrong way. But to injure another person cannot be justified.
