Bank unions threaten Amitabh Bachchan

These are the days that common man is losing his confidence on the Banking system. And a satirical advertisement by Big B on the banking system has of course rubbed salt on the bruises of the bankers. The advertisement portrays Amitabh as an old man whose pension gets credited twice. However he decides to give it back to the bank where he gets a taste of rudeness and corruption. The ad has irritated the bank employee unions. All India Bank Officers’ Confederation has threatened to sue Kalyan Jewellers for “hurting the sentiments of millions of personnel”. Kalyan Jewellers has of course clarified that it has not intention to hurt their sentiments and has assured that it would be adding a clarification that the advertisement is fictional.
