Will Beat up filmmakers hiring Pak artists

on Oct 11, 2016

Amey Khopkar, who heads the MNS Chitrapat Sena, said in addition to preventing Pakistanis working in Mumbai, his party would beat up those employing them as well. “We will teach them a lesson as per our style if they try to circumvent the ban on hiring Pakistanis,” Khopkar said. Khopkar’s threat comes days after prominent Bollywood personalities like Karan Johar, Mahesh Bhatt, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan hit out at the MNS for threatening Pakistanis from working in Indian films.

"They haveno affinity for the jawans and people of the country, but care for Pakistani actors. Henceforth, we will bash up people who bring Pakistani actors here," threatened Ameya Khopkar. In wake of the Uri attacks, which led to the deaths of 19 army men, the MNS had issued an ultimatum to all Pakistani actors to leave India in 48 hours or face physical attacks.
