Sometime back Amala Akkineni stated that she isn't interested in films while making a comeback with Sekhar Kammula's Life Is Beautiful. Then she has taken up films like Listen Amaya and Hamari Adhuri Kahani, where she has done some guest roles. Latest buzz is that she's playing a full time heroine now.
Amala will be playing the female lead in the film that has Kamal Haasan teaming up with National Award winning director TK Rajeev Kumar. Kamal Haasan. This bilingual brings Kamal Haasan and Rajeev Kumar together after a gap of 26 years. Interestingly, the film will also marks the collaboration of the two actors 27 years after they worked together in Satyam (1987) and Pushpaka Vimanam (1987). Should we now say Amala is back to films?
