Can Vidya Balan be christened as the new hero on the block? Perhaps yes, as the hot bombshell is ruling the roost even at satellite rights too. After the super success of Dirty Picture, Vidya Balan’s latest release Kahaani is doing great business not only at the box office but also in satellite too. Sources say that Kahaani has fetched around 8 crores on satellite sales, pretty much like her Dirty Picture rights. Further, Kahaani likely to break the overseas box office record of The Dirty Picture over the second weekend. Ask Producer Vikram Malhotra on this and he says. “"I can’t disclose figures but I can tell you that Kahaani has surpassed expectations on all fronts - India box office; overseas and satellite sales."
