Telugu Actor Ahuti Prasad Died of Cancer

Renowned Telugu actor Ahuti Prasad breathed his last today while undergoing treatment for cancer at KIMS, Hyderabad. ''He was undergoing treatment for some health-related issues at our hospital for the last few days. He showed signs of improvement last week, but his condition worsened this morning (Sunday) and he died half an hour ago'' said Hospital sources.

Ahuti Prasad entered industry with Vikram in 1986, which is also actor Nagarjuna's debut film. later, it was producer Shyam Prasad who spotted him in the shooting of a film and offered him a role in the film Aahuti. The actor got a big break with that him and he was tagged Ahuti Prasad.

The actor also won Nandi Award (2003) for Best Villain for the film Nenu Ninnu Premistunnanu and Best Character Actor award for Chandamama (2008).
