Acharya makers compensating distributors for losses

Megastar Chiranjeevi's Acharya has turned out to be one of the most financially disastrous ventures in recent times. Acharya's buyers have barely returned 25-30% of their investment, and the theatrical run is nearly finished by the first Monday. Around 85 crores loss to the makers.

According to reports, director Koratala Siva and the producers have promised to compensate the buyers for a part of their losses. To resolve the issue, a meeting with all distributors will be held this weekend. In certain important regions, Siva has handled Acharya's business. As a result, he will face the weight of this disaster. As recompense for the failure, Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan have already agreed to give up a portion of their remuneration.
