Surveen Chawla levels casting couch allegations

Surveen Chawla, who came into prominence, with TV serials like Kahin To Hoga, Kasautii Zindagi Kay, Kaajjal, did Punjabi films and erotic thrillers like Hate Story 2 as well. She worked in Tamil films like Moondru Per Moondru Kadhal, Puthiya Thiruppangal but she stopped doing South films post that.
The actress in a recent interview, stated that she faced casting couch in Tamil Industry, and stated that a film involving a National Award winning director and actor, did come to her. After her screen test, the director's assistant tried to pursue her to accept for a commitment till the end of the film.
She graphically explained how the pursuation went with Tamil director trying to sweet talk into accepting for a commitment and she stayed very firmly away from it. Also, she stated that she remembers that conversation and what she said even to date. She stated that she did encounter casting couch many times.
Surveen Chawla stated that she never resorted to finding work by "sleeping with someone" and she always asked people to find her good acting prowess to give her roles. While she stated that she has no qualms with being glamorous or acting in intimate scenes if script needed but never paraded for just finding work.
