Highest Pre Release Business for Tier 2 Hero film Dasara?

Natural star Nani much awaited Dasara coming to theatres on March 30th. The film starring Keerthy Suresh as the heroine gained huge buzz among pan-India audience with the trailer.

Dasara's expectations have undoubtedly increased as a result of Nani's aggressive promotion strategies and faith in the concept. Using the hype, the film is sold for huge rates everywhere which are also highest ever in Nani’s career.

The prices sold are unheard for a Nani film and these numbers need a solid run for breakeven. The film worldwide number for pre release business is whopping 48 crores - 13 crores (Nizam), 6.5 Crores (Ceeded), 15 Crores Ratio (Andhra), 2 Crores (Karnataka), 4 Crores (North India), 1.5 Crore ( Tamilnadu + Kerala) and 6 Crores (Overseas).

Advance bookings for the film are good but could have been better considering the range of pre-business it has done. Bookings good in Nizam area with some additional factors like the regional setup of the film. The film should benefit from the holiday tomorrow and take a record opening for a Tier-2 hero film.

Directed by Srikanth Odela, this movie is produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under the banner of Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas and Santosh Narayanan has given music for it.
