Vidya Balan to do MS Subbulakshmi

After delivering back to back hits in Bollywood with 'The Dirty Picture' and 'Kahaani', Vidya Balan seems to have changed her genre. Yes, it has been reported that Vidya Balan has been approached for the lead role in a film which will be a biopic of legendary singer M. S. Subbulakshmi. Renowned cinematographer Rajiv Menon is planning to direct this movie. However, objections are already being raised from an organisation on Vidya Balan's portrayal as MS Subbulakshmi. In an official statement, the organization declared that though they respect Rajiv Menon's idea of making a biopic on MS Subbulakshmi, they do not want to see Vidya Balan playing the legendary singer.
