Sources say that Mani Ratnam has rejected Samantha in his upcoming multilingual movie. Samantha, who has struck the Tollywood box office with a hat trick, was caught clueless when she was turned down by the tough task master. Mani Ratnam was reportedly not impressed with Samantha’s screen test for the upcoming movie it seems. The director was not happy with Samantha’s photo shoot and wants to reconsider his decision. Now Mani’s is searching for another heroine to cast her opposite senior Tamil actor Karthik’s son Gautham, who is making his debut with the movie. Hhhmmm! What a contrasting picture for Samantha!
