Priyamani Focusing on Performance

After receiving the National Award for 'Best Actress', Priyamani never focused on doing performance oriented roles. She was busy flaunting her assets and was indulged in doing glamorous roles. Even the filmmakers gave Priyamani only those kind of roles that involved skin shows and exposing. But freshly, Priyamani has decided to take the other route it seems. The glamorous actress has started prioritizing roles that have scope for performance and not just the oomph show.

Priyamani's current movie is 'Kshetram', a heroine-centric period film that has ample scope for performance and carrying herself. But, Priyamani lost another offer by a whisker, when she was asked to do a female oriented movie. The reason being the actress has demanded 1 crore remuneration it seems. Nonetheless, there are no regrets for the actress since she has pinned lot of hopes on Kshetram to change her fortunes – just like how it happened for Anushka in 'Arundhati' and Charmi in 'Mantra'.
