Kalki 2 to resume shoot from this month end

Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan starrer Kalki 2, sequel to sci-fi epic Kalki 2898 AD, is gearing up to go on sets from February month end. As per the reports, the makers have locked the script and are eager to take the movie on floors from this month end. They have completed extensive pre-production work and locked dates of Big B and Kamal Haasan.

Reports suggest that Prabhas will complete the two week schedule planned to start the film and then, he will re-join Fauji sets for a short while. Later, he will continue to shoot for Spirit. As Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan dates would be heard to secure, Prabhas made this adjustment to fulfil his commitment.

The legendary actors' part has been increased post Deepika Padukone's ousting from the sequel. Sai Pallavi is said to have replaced her but the official announcement has not yet been made. As off now, the makers are working on shooting the scenes on the three main men and then, they will go for leading lady portions.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who said to have asked for continuous dates for his film from Prabhas has decided to wait till April end, for his undevoted attention. Recent injury for Prabhas did not deter the actor from accepting to join the sets of Kalki 2, in the direction of Nag Ashwin.
