
Bollywood Star Ranveer Singh has pledged to support the education of 1,000 girls as part of a social initiative announced during his visit to Mumbai's Lalbaugcha Raja pandal on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi.
The actor visited the famous Ganesh pandal to seek Lord Ganesha's blessings and expressed gratitude for the success and opportunities in his life. Speaking about his commitment to education, Ranveer said, “I hope that this pleases Bappa.”

The initiative comes under the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, with the actor committing to contribute towards the education of 1,000 girls. His announcement coincided with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday on September 17.
Meanwhile, Bollywood actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have also pledged support for education by committing to refurbish 20 schools in Mumbai in collaboration with the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).
