Parineeti Chopra is set to make her web series debut with Shaque: Trust No One, a Hindi mystery thriller that will premiere on Netflix on September 24. The series revolves around a mother whose nine-year search for her abducted child begins to uncover secrets surrounding the people closest to her.

Created by Rensil D’Silva and Siddharth P. Malhotra, Shaque: Trust No One is directed by D’Silva and backed by Alchemy Films. The story explores the uncertainty that develops when trust starts giving way to suspicion, with the investigation gradually bringing hidden relationships and unanswered questions into focus.

Parineeti Chopra plays the central character, with Jennifer Winget and Tahir Raj Bhasin among the other prominent names in the cast. Soni Razdan, Anup Soni, Harleen Sethi, Sumeet Vyas and Dhruv Chaudhary also feature in the ensemble.

The series marks a new format for Chopra, who has previously appeared in films including Tribhanga and Maharaj. For Rensil D’Silva, the project also marks his Netflix directorial debut.
