on Oct 30, 2025

Abhishek Bachchan won Filmfare award for his performance in "I Want to Talk". The movie is directed by Shoojit Sircar and the actor is praised by critics and they remarked it as his career best. But few people have started trolls and accusations, calling it as a "paid award" and undeserving.

Abhishek replied to a person on X and clarified that he never tried to buy any award or even ran an aggressive PR campaign for it. He stated that he got the award for his hardwork and he is happy to be able to get such recognition. He promised to work doubly harder to silence all naysayers in his upcoming films.

He wrote on X, "Just to set the record straight. Never has any award been bought or aggressive PR been done by me . Just hard work, blood, sweat and tears. But, doubt you’ll believe anything I say or write. So…. Best way to shut you up is by working even harder so that you don’t ever doubt any achievement that will happen in the future, again. I will prove you wrong! With all due respect and “affability”."

As the actor is said to appear in a negative role in Shah Rukh Khan's King, fans of the actor are supporting him. Also, several people have started commenting in favor of Abhishek stating that in trying find some sort of attention and appreciation, several have made it their occupation to spread false rumors and call everything fake.

They are supporting the actor stating that he always stayed true to his craft and worked hard to prove his worth against trolls and comments from the beginning of his career. Several people are calling it his most classy reply yet to such trolls.
