Jagan Bail Plea Posted For Hearing on 31 May

Kadapa MP and YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy filed bail plea in the Special CBI court this morning. Yesterday, the court had dismissed his petition seeking bail and remanded him to judicial custody till 11 June in his disproportionate assets case.

Jagan Filed Bail Petition Today

YSR Congress Party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has filed his bail petition in the CBI Special Court on Tuesday. In his petition, filed through his lawyer, Jagan had said that as the president of YSRCP he needed to campaign for the candidates in the ensuing by-elections and prayed for bail. Maintaining that his arrest was improper, he has asked the court to give him bail to enable him to campaign for his party candidates.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) produced Kadapa MP and YSR Congress Party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in Special CBI Court in his disproportionate assets case. While CBI sought for 14 days custody of Jagan, his counsels argued that the arrest of Jagan Mohan Reddy itself was irregular.

Except Jagan, Vijay Sai Reddy 11 Others Get Bail

Hyderabad: 28 May 2012 - 12PM: The CBI Special Court at Nampally today granted bail to 11 accused other than YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and Vijay Sai Reddy. The court had earlier issued summons to all 13 accused in the Jagan Mohan Reddy's disproportionate assets case to appear before the court today under the 1st chargesheet filed by the CBI in this case.

Jagan Arrest: Jagan Brought to CBI Court

Amidst tigh security, Kadapa MP and YSR Congress Party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has been brought to CBI Special Court at 10 AM on Monday. CBI arrested Jagan yesterday evening at 7.20 PM at Dilkusha guesthouse, where he was being interrogated for the past three days. Jagan was brought to the court in a separate vehicle accompanied by a CBI SP.

Jagan Day 2 CBI Interrogation Ends

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's interrogation on day 2 by CBI ended at 6 PM on Saturday. Jagan had come to the CBI camp office in Dilkusha guesthouse at 10.30 AM. Like yesterday, today also CBI questioned him for over seven hours at a stretch.

After questioning Jagan Mohan Reddy for seven hours on day one, the CBI has let him off at 6 PM on Friday. He has been asked by the CBI to come again tomorrow on Saturday at 10.30 AM.

Jagan Arrest: Count Down Begins at Dilkusha

Amidst tight security Jagan Mohan Reddy has finally reached Dilkusha Guest House to appear before CBI for questioning. At the guest house, the CBI and also ED (Enforcement Directorate) will interrogate Jagan regarding the investments put up in his businesses by several other people.

Kadapa MP and YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will appear before the CBI in connection with the disproportionate assets case on today (25-05-2012) at 10.30 AM. The special CBI court at Hyderabad rejected Jagan's anticipatory bail plea on Thursday. On Wednesday, the Andhra Pradesh HC turned down his plea to delay appearance before the CBI till June 15.
