Analysis:
Major asset of Raju Gari Gadhi was hilarious entertainment and horror elements from start to end. We see ‘Raju Gari Gadhi’ franchise as a horror comedy series. However, Raju Gari Gadhi 2 is not completely a horror film. The film has a strong content and message for society. We use technology a bit for good reasons and a lot for bad reasons. And biggest message director Ohmkar conveyed was how a woman feels when she is disgraced in the society. What kind of pain she goes through, when she is not in a position to face the people around her? We take bothering things happen to others very lightly, but we get to know the suffering only when we experience them. We are living in a society where people feel blissful for others hardships.

Actually, the film starts on happy note with three friends starting resort business. They try to flirt with a bold girl Seerat Kapoor who came to the resort on a vacation. The sequences between Seerat and the three friends are hilarious. Movie turns bit more interesting after Nagarjuna lands in resort to resolve mystery around a spirit that is troubling the friends. Interval block where the spirit in water form warns Nagarjuna was breathtaking. While first half was filled with hilarious and horror sequences, second half was heavily emotional. In fact, back story of the spirit was sensitive. Climax episode between Samantha, Nagarjuna and another person was touching.

Artists Performances:
Firstly, Nagarjuna must be appreciated for accepting the role where there’s no space to exhibit heroism. Nagarjuna didn’t have an introduction fight or song like a regular film which is a great thing. He gave an excellent performance throughout, especially in a particular sequence where he talks greatly about women. Samantha Ruth Prabhu is the real show stealer. Though she got a brief role, it makes strong impact on the film. The character portrays a strong message to the society which wrongly objectifies women. Samantha indeed lived in the character in climax portions where she displays her anguish. Seerat Kapoor is one of the boldest heroines. She has provided glamour feast to youth by donning short and skin revealing outfits. She lures with her alluring show. The comedy batch Vennela Kishore, Praveen, Ashwin and Shakalaka Shankar tickle your funny bone. Actress Abhinaya is another biggest asset and surprise package of the film.

Technical Aspect:
Director Ohmkar narrated the film cleverly. While he focused on comedy and horror in first half, actual story was narrated in second half. There’s strong and emotional content in back-story which makes audience to simply stay in their seats and get poignant. Dialogues by Abburi Ravi were thought-provoking. He penned excellent dialogues for key sequences. SS Thaman gave life to the film with his amazing back ground score. In fact, many sequences appeared fascinating because of Thaman’s top-class work on BGM. Cinematography by R Diwakaran was bright. Production values of PVP Cinema are top-notch.

Verdict:
Raju Gari Gadhi 2 definitely has all the elements for all section of audiences. Families will definitely connect to the strong content in second half. However, horror and comedy lovers may disappoint a bit as second half was completely filled with emotional episodes.
