Sharwanad & Sai Pallavi are a delightful couple to watch. Before the release, the movie songs and its promotions created a huge buzz among the audience. All in all, it has made the audience wait for this Friday & surely watch the movie. The positive vibes of this movie made the audience forget about Hanu’s last flop with ‘Lie’. So has the movie stood up to the expectations? Let us read the review.

Story:

Surya (Sarwanand) falls in love with Vaishali (Sai Pallavi) in his first sight. He keeps following her and finally makes her fall in love with him. One day Vaishali speaks to him about their wedding & gets shocked after understanding that Surya is against marriages and is happy to be the way they are. She disagrees & breaks up with him.

Before departing, they promise each other to meet at the same place after an year. At that time, if they feel that they cannot live without each other – they shall get married. After an year, Surya realizes that Vaishali has Retrograde Amnesia & thus she will not identify Surya.

Thus Surya introduces himself as Karthik to Vaishali & tries to impress her. Will Vaishali again fall in love with him? Does she really have Retrograde Amnesia? Will both marry at the end? Answers to all this forms the movie story.

Analysis:

As the title says, the movie falls down initially and grabs audience attention and finally falls down again! Creating wonderful magic in love sequences & showcasing them with beauty is Director Hanu Raghavapudi’s strength. And the chemistry between the lead pair in this movie is elegant. Hanu has covered first half with magical romance, but the audience may feel that the story is not moving forward.

Vishal Chandrashekar’s background music is a plus for the movie. All the songs in the first half are wonderful. Hero’s flashback scenes remind us about Idiot movie flashback. Audience will not like the way the hero heroine part ways.

Scenes seem to be repeated in the second half. Also the story’s pace slows down and bores the audience. The movie seems to end in an inappropriate note where audience will still keep thinking if the Heroine has Retrograde Amnesia.

As mentioned earlier the music and cinematography are the only assets to the movie. Production values are rich. The graphic scenes are not good during the earthquake scene. If the audience ask/think what is new in this movie? The answer would be nothing!

Plus Points:

Sharwanand Sai Pallavi Chemistry

Comedy Scenes

Vishal Chandrashekar Music & Background Music

Jayakrishna Gummadi’s Cinematography

Locations

Minus Points:

Weak Story

Stretchy Scenes

Performances:

Sai Pallavi & Shawanand have done justice to their respective roles. The chemistry between the two is awesome. Priyadarshini & Vennela Kishore have made the audience laugh. The punch dialogues written by Hanu for the comedy scenes are good. Sunil has done an okay job.

Finally:

There are beautiful romantic moments in Hanu Raghavapudi’s story. He has written the comedy scenes without deviating from the story but he drags certain situations. The chemistry between the lead pair has made first half watchable but the slow second half will make the audience feel bored.

Rating: 2.5/5
