No Telugu Movie Release for Diwali

This Diwali, Tollywood lacks the required spice and fizz. With no Telugu cinema release, the producers are staying away from the thick of the action. Blame it on Shahrukh Khan's most ambitious project Ra.One and Surya’s 7 am Arivu as no Telugu movie producer is taking a chance to counter releases of these two movies. Tollywood is just content watching these two movies lock horns and are happy playing a waiting game. Big heroes have decided to stay away from Diwali race and this has really not gone well with the filmgoers.

SRK is releasing Ra.One as G. One in Telugu and planning to screen in maximum theaters. Similarly, Surya’s 7am Arivu is being dubbed in Telugu as 7th Sense and the makers are planning for a huge release bearing Surya and Murugadoss’ market in Andhra Pradesh. With these two movies sweeping theaters, there’s no scope for any Telugu movie release, says a noted producer. “Where is the scope for releasing the movie? There are no theaters available and how come you release a telugu movie at this point”, questions the producer. Well, that's understandable!
