When Bruce Lee: The Fighter where Chiranjeevi played a cameo role bombed at box office, antis raised questions regarding megastar’s stamina. Keeping mum for some time, Chiranjeevi announced to star in Kaththi remake titled Khaidi No 150. Critics again censured Chiru for picking to do a remake, rather looking for a fresh subject.
Shutting all mouths, Khaidi No 150 had opened to earth-shattering collections and the film continued to shatter several records. At last, the VV Vinayak directed film crossed 100 crore mark (share). It is the second film in Telugu cinema history. Previously, ace director SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus Baahubali touched century mark.
Khaidi No 150 created new record in Vizag area, breaking Baahubali full run shares in the territory. With the film, Chiru proved that, he is always king of Tollywood!
