Classic Director Talks About Rajnikanth Biopi

It is definitely not a bad idea for a biopic on Superstar Rajinikanth, as his life could become a classy 70mm story, if his career as a Bus Conductor to Superstar on silver screen is portrayed on silver screen well. That's what classic director Maniratnam says.
"If I find a suitable actor who has the ability to portray Rajinikanth on the big screen, definitely Rajnikanth's biopic will be worth watching and I would direct it", says Mani Ratnam, who worked with Rajni only once in his career. "I’m really fortunate I could bring out the actor in him to a certain extent hidden behind his star image", he added, talking about their film "Dhalapathy" that created a storm at box office.
On the other hand, Mani is busy finalising leads for his next which is likely to have Karthi in the lead.
