Film Clashes In Tollywood No More

on Oct 12, 2015

Earlier the scene used to be like this. There are festivals like Sankranthi, where films of Megastar Chiru, Balayya and Venky, Nagaruna used to clash. But now, there is no such scope. Because Telugu industry took clues from Bollywood while planning these releases.

In the recent past, when Baahubali is released, Srimanthudu moved to a considerable gap. Similarly Kick 2 is also placed at 2 weeks gap. Even last year, Ram Charan and Mahesh have decided to not clash their films at box office, thereby both losing the revenues. Aagadu and Govindudu Andarivadele are released at 2 weeks gap. That means there is no possibility of two big films clashing at box office in the coming days, such that one will not eat revenues of others. Whether hit or flop, films of big stars make considerable money at box office, so a gap will ensure of good revenue.
