Sreeleela has been the most sought after leading lady in Telugu Cinema until last year. She had been the first choice for big action films but she had decided to test the waters in Tamil and Hindi Cinema, after continuous failures. Post, Sivakarthikeyan's Parasakthi, she grabbed the opportunity to star opposite Dhanush in OM.

Mammootty, Sai Pallavi are cast in other prominent roles in this Rajkumar Periasamy directorial. He delivered a mega blockbuster like Amaran and promising another one with OM. The makers have released separate glimpses for each important character and now, revealed Sreeleela's character as Roja, a childhood sweetheart of Dhanush.

They get married and have a very emotional relationship. Sreeleela has been presented in a de-glam look and she is much prettier. Also, she seems to have worked hard on her expressions to not fit some "commercial meter". But earlier this year, Mamitha Baiju tried similar de-glam role in Dhanush's Kara.

The movie failed miserably at the box office and even Mamitha did not end up gaining any praises for her performance. She had back to back hits with Vishwanath and Sons, Bethelehem Kudumba Unit but many forgot Kara. While Sai Abhyankkar score and songs for OM have been extremely popular, it would be interesting to see, if Sreeleela, does have better luck at the box office after continuous flops in Telugu. OM is releasing on 20th November, worldwide.
