Vishwaksen’s upcoming directorial Cult is set to hit theatres on October 30, with the makers locking the release date ahead of the Diwali holiday weekend. The film marks his return to the director’s chair after Falaknuma Das and Das Ka Dhamki and is being positioned as an Indian slasher action film.

The film revolves around three friends who head to a club during a trip but find themselves under attack from a mysterious group of people. Vishwaksen plays a character who takes on the attackers using his tactical abilities and fighting skills. The release-date glimpse features him in a bloody, high-intensity action avatar, offering a look at the film’s violent setting and action-driven narrative.

The October 30 release places Cult ahead of the following weekend’s Diwali holidays, giving the film an opportunity to benefit from the festive theatrical window. The makers are planning a multilingual release across India, with the film targeting audiences drawn to action and slasher cinema.
