Director Srikanth Odela has revealed that Nani completely trusted his vision for The Paradise, despite concerns from those around them about the actor sporting braids for his character. Speaking to the media, the filmmaker said Nani understood the emotion behind the look and embraced it as a mass symbol.

Reuniting with Nani after Dasara, Srikanth said he wanted to make a full-fledged action film this time, unlike what audiences initially expected from their previous collaboration. Inspired by real incidents in Godavarikhani, the filmmaker also located the story in Secunderabad Railway Colony, where he grew up. He indicated that the emotional scenes between Nani and his mother, along with the confrontations between Nani and Mohan Babu, will be among the film's highlights. Mohan Babu plays the ruthless Sikanji Malik, and Srikanth described his face-offs with Nani as explosive.

Addressing the film's delay and rumours of reshoots, Srikanth apologised to audiences and clarified that no scenes were reshot and the script was not rewritten. He said the initial 161-day shooting plan extended to 171 days because of his attention to camera placements and on-set perfection. While several shots required numerous takes, he maintained that the film's script was locked before filming, with only on-set improvisations.

Srikanth also spoke about his working relationship with composer Anirudh Ravichander, calling him a close friend who understands and enhances the director's vision. He stressed that The Paradise has a strong emotional core beyond its action sequences and promised audiences an intense theatrical experience. Produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri, the film is scheduled for a worldwide release on September 24.
