Sundeep Kishan’s Sigma is getting a strong distribution setup in the Telugu market ahead of its October release. Mythri Distribution has acquired the theatrical rights for Telangana and Coastal Andhra, while NVR Cinema will handle the film’s release in Rayalaseema.

The move gives the upcoming heist thriller a solid theatrical network even before its release. The film has already generated interest through its promotional material, particularly Sundeep Kishan’s stylish appearance, action and swag. The songs and background score by S Thaman have also added to the buzz around the project.

Sigma marks the directorial debut of Jason Sanjay, who has written and directed the film. Coming from a prominent film family, the young filmmaker has attracted attention with his choice of a heist thriller for his first outing. The promotional material so far suggests an attempt to present Sundeep Kishan in a slicker action-oriented avatar.

Produced by Lyca Productions, the film is being mounted on a lavish scale and is scheduled to release worldwide on October 2 in Telugu and Tamil. With Mythri and NVR backing the Telugu theatrical distribution, Sigma is expected to secure a sizeable release across the Telugu States.
