After a massive 400-crore success in Bollywood, Hanuman Ansh has now released in Telugu. Let us look into how this devotional drama unfolds on the screen.

Plot:
Losing his mother at age three, Lakshman Kumar (Shobhinav Satya) finds peace in meditation and chanting "Sitaram." Believing the entire world is his family and that Lord Shiva resides in everyone, he travels extensively before settling in the village of Neem Karoli in Uttarakhand. When his father reminds him of his childhood wife (Purnima Tiwari), he returns to visit her. The story reveals how he transforms into the revered Neem Karoli Baba, exploring his miracles, philosophies, and the spiritual path he taught humanity.

Analysis:
The film successfully keeps viewers in a deep spiritual mood through a clever, non-linear screenplay. It opens strongly with a doctor fighting the British, seamlessly leading into Baba's engaging flashback. The scenes sharing his early life truths and the moment where a disciple sees Lord Shiva in him are brilliantly executed.

The second half shines with an excellent train episode involving a British officer and a very well-handled climax. However, the film slightly struggles to explain why Baba chose to settle down in Neem Karoli, despite his strong philosophy of non-attachment. Shobhinav Satya brings Baba to life with an authentic performance, while the direction and background score beautifully elevate the entire experience.

Positives:

Engaging story and clever screenplay
Shobhinav Satya's exceptional performance
Direction and background score
The train episode and interval twist

Negatives:

Baba's reason for staying in Neem Karoli is weakly established

Bottomline: A perfect devotional film that feels like attending a beautiful and peaceful Ram Bhajan.
