“I have beaten up a guy when we have gone for a girl’s trip during our college days. He was taking our pictures when we are trying sweaters in roadside stalls. I snatched his phone, deleted those pics and asked my friends to call the police”, said Rakul, explaining an old incident. What happened later with this guy? “When he snatched the phone from us, I hold his collar and slapped him. He then punched me in my stomach and ran away. I followed him, picked up a stone and hit him”, she adds.
That’s the braveness woman need to show these days for the kind of safety this men-dominated country is providing them.
