Suriya delivered biggest blockbuster of his career with Karuppu. The movie was designed as Mookuthi Amman 2, sequel to Mookuthi Amman by RJ Balaji. But the director quit Mookuthi Amman franchise and sold the rights to Sundar C to develop the sequel. Now, this Nayanthara starrer is set to clash with Suriya's next film. 

As per the reports, Suriya has completed shoot of his next film as a cop, in the direction of Jithu Madhavan. After Aavesham, the director is coming up with this film and it has huge anticipation. Nazriya Nazim and Naslen are cast in the film, which further increased expectations. 

Suriya is producing the film on his Zhagaram productions and he locked Diwali release for the film, say reports. On the other hand, Sundar C and producer Ishari Ganesh have watched Mookuthi Amman 2, loved it and are super confident about the movie becoming a huge blockbuster for Diwali time, it seems. 

Well, Ramayana Part-1 is set to release for the same date or time. Already, Dhanush's OM makers wanted to see if they can postpone their movie from 16th October to avoid clash with Rajinikanth's Jailer 2 but they did not want to lose to Ramayana. We have to wait and see how other two biggies will withhold and carry forward.
