Suriya debuted in Telugu cinema with the much-awaited family drama Vishwanath and Sons. Directed by Venky Atluri, this exciting project is currently gearing up and is set for a massive theatrical release this August. Fans are already thrilled to see his direct entry into the Tollywood market.

Now, the latest gossip in the industry is that Anil Ravipudi could direct the actor's second Telugu film and incidentally, his 50th film, too. Reports suggest that there have been a few inquiries from Anil Ravipudi's side about working with the acclaimed actor.

The director is currently fully focused on completing the final stages of pre-production for his next big multi-starrer, which features Venkatesh and Nandamuri Kalyanram. However, the energetic director clearly has his eyes set on his future lineup despite his busy schedule.

Suriya delivered a big blockbuster with Karuppu and he is hoping for Vishwanath and Sons to be a resounding success. In few weeks, he is set to complete his 48th film in the direction of Jithu Madhavan. Post that he will start shooting for his 49th film with his Jai Bhim director Tha.Se. Gnanavel.
