Aamir Khan could be heading into the superhero space once again, with the actor reportedly in early discussions for a new film with filmmaker R Balki and producer Sajid Nadiadwala. If the project materialises, it would mark the first collaboration between Aamir, Balki and Nadiadwala.

The project is said to be at a very early stage, with scripting still underway. Aamir has reportedly shown interest, but he is yet to formally commit. Given the scale of a superhero film, the script, character arc and production design are expected to be worked out before the project moves ahead.

Interestingly, this comes at a time when Bollywood’s leading Khans are increasingly exploring the superhero genre. Salman Khan is also reportedly preparing for a superhero project with Raj and DK, making Aamir’s latest discussions particularly interesting.

For now, the Balki-Aamir-Nadiadwala combination remains a developing project rather than an officially confirmed film. Aamir is busy prepping for his next big collaboration with Ashutosh Gowarikar and post this, he is in talks with several filmmakers for his next.
