NBK dedicates his World Book of Records honor to his fans

Nandamuri Balakrishna, hailed as the God of Masses, has achieved a remarkable feat, becoming the only leading actor in world cinema to complete 50 years in lead roles. This extraordinary accomplishment has been officially recognized by the World Book of Records, who have included it in their prestigious gold edition.
In a special ceremony held in Hyderabad, Balakrishna was honored for this rare milestone. The event was attended by notable figures, including MP Bandi Sanjay and Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh.
Dr. Ullaji Eliyazar, Joint Secretary of the World Book of Records, and Santhosh Shukla, CEO of the organization, presented the honor to Balakrishna, acknowledging his enduring legacy. The felicitation ceremony also saw the presence of several prominent personalities from the film industry, including Jayasudha, Boyapati Srinu, Gopichand Malineni, Director Bobby, Producer Suresh Babu, S.S. Thaman, Nandamuri Mohankrishna, Daggubati Venkateswara Rao, and Prasanna Kumar.
All attendees expressed their joy and pride in witnessing Balakrishna receive this honor and extended their best wishes for his continued success. During his acceptance speech, Balakrishna reflected on his journey, recalling his first time in front of the camera as a 13-year-old for the film Tathamma Kala. He admitted that at the time, he never imagined he would be celebrating such a milestone 50 years later.
He expressed his gratitude for being born to legendary parents, NTR and Basavatarakamma. He emphasized that his most significant contribution to Indian cinema isn't just his 50-year career or 110 films but rather the impactful social issues he has addressed and the enduring legacy he is building.
Balakrishna said he feels grateful for his fulfilling life as an actor and dedicated the honor to his fans, family, producers, actors, and directors who have shaped his career. He concluded by promising to remain humble and continue to entertain his audience for as long as possible.
