Savitri is the true embodiment of acting - Venkaiah Naidu

The 90th birth anniversary of the legendary actress Savitri was celebrated with a grand Savitri Mahotsavam in Hyderabad. Organized by her daughter, Vijaya Chamundeshwari, and the Sangam Foundation, the event saw former Vice President of India, Muppavarapu Venkaiah Naidu, lighting the inaugural lamp.

In his tribute, Mr. Venkaiah Naidu highlighted Savitri’s enduring legacy, stating she has not passed away but continues to mesmerize audiences. He made a powerful distinction about her dedication to acting, noting that "Savitri is not seen on screen except the role," emphasizing her complete immersion into every character.
