Nani has been concentrating on increasing his mass hero image with action films. He starred in Saripodha Sanivaaram, HIT-3 and now, The Paradise. While Saripodha Sanivaaram did not really blast at the box office, it did work for Nani. But HIT-3 had good initial but encountered massive negativity for extreme violence. 

Audiences did not really enjoy the action sequences and movie did not really work at the level Nani anticipated it would. Now, The Paradise has good advance bookings and Day 1 with premieres, looks solid to collect over Rs.70 crores gross worldwide, highest for him ever but movie has achieved heavily mixed reports. 

More audiences are calling it a disaster with clueless second half while first half is decent enough. Director Srikanth Odela seems to narrated ideas but failed to execute them on screen. Nani kept pampering him and even supporting his vision outright. He even defended his behaviour as obsession with perfection. 

Currently though Srikanth is being trolled everywhere and the scenes from The Paradise are being shared on social media, already. Some are calling it as Nani's desperate attempt to prove to be a mass action hero but Nani condemned any such obsession and he is trying to feature in all genres. 

He even stated that post Bloody Romeo with Sujeeth, he has agreed to be part of a completely different film and he is not going to leave his family audiences base. But these bloody actioners does make audiences think twice before walking into theatres for his films which is not a case, at the moment. 

The extreme mixed reactions to the film, about how Anirudh Ravichander BGM is also not good seems to be effecting any future bookings at this point. We have to wait and see how this film does sustain over the coming days or will it crash. Some audiences and well-wishers of Nani are expecting him to give a better film, immediately, to wipe out any negativity of The Paradise for quick turnaround.
