An explosive interview by Tamil playback singer Swagatha S Krishnan on the YouTube channel Sivasankari Talks has sent shockwaves through the South Indian music industry. In the video, Swagatha leveled severe allegations of sexual abuse and intimidation against a prominent music composer, shocking everyone by branding him the 'Epstein of Madras'.  

The singer detailed a horrifying ordeal, claiming she was abused in a locked, soundproofed recording studio fitted with hidden CCTV cameras. She alleged that the recorded footage was later used to threaten and silence her. According to Swagatha's statement, the composer manipulated her under the guise of mentorship, establishing emotional and financial dependence before exploiting the bond. 

The trauma and subsequent industry defamation forced her into isolation, leading her to leave Chennai for Rishikesh and almost quit her singing career. Though she had previously opened up about her abuse on social media back in 2022 and 2023, these horrifying new details have reignited the controversy.
