Speculation surrounding Toxic has been gaining momentum over the last few days, with several reports claiming that the film had run into creative turbulence. However, the makers have now firmly denied the rumours and clarified that the project is progressing as planned.

According to circulating reports, actor Yash was allegedly unhappy with the way the film had shaped up and had demanded an extensive 100-day reshoot schedule. Rumours further suggested that creative differences had emerged between Yash and director Geethu Mohandas and that the star had personally stepped in to shoot a few portions of the film himself.

Responding to the speculation, the makers have dismissed the entire narrative and stated that there is no truth to the reshoot claims. They reportedly clarified that post-production work on the film has been completed and that the project remains on schedule. While the clarification has put creative-dispute rumours to rest, conversations continue around the film’s release timeline. 

According to industry insiders, the team is currently focused on closing a major OTT agreement and is also exploring the possibility of bringing a Hollywood studio on board to handle distribution of the English version. Sources indicate that the makers are expected to announce the release date only after these key deals are finalised, aiming to position Toxic for a wider global rollout.
