The Paradise emotional core will move everyone - Nani

Sep 20, 2026 5:08PM

Nani has revealed that the mother-son emotion forms the core of The Paradise, while praising director Srikanth Odela for approaching the film from the perspective of mass audiences rather than simply trying to cater to their expectations.

Speaking to the press, Nani said Srikanth treats mass audiences with immense respect. “Srikanth thinks like a mass audience member on sets. He doesn’t think about what mass audiences want and write it. He behaves like one and treats them like his God,” the actor said.

Nani recalled how the director would approach him after certain shots and predict that theatres would erupt with excitement. He also revealed that Srikanth’s admiration for his dancing pushed him to put in extra effort.

The actor believes the film’s emotional foundation will appeal to family audiences despite its action-heavy narrative. “I don’t think family audiences would reject action films. They need it to have strong core emotion, and our The Paradise has it,” he said.

Set in the 1980s, the film revolves around the oppression of the Sawaari tribe and what happens when its members unite. Nani described Mohan Babu and Raghav Juyal’s characters as brutal yet realistic, while hinting that Kayadu Lohar’s role will surprise audiences.

He also praised Anirudh Ravichander’s work, stating that The Paradise gave the composer an opportunity to showcase his full potential. Produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri, the film is scheduled for release on September 24.
