Young actor Sumanth Prabhas has signed another interesting project. The actor has now joined hands with Raju Weds Rambai director Sri Saailu Kaampati for a new rustic entertainer, which was formally launched with a traditional pooja ceremony on Monday. The film marks Production No. 10 for Sree Venkateswara Cinemas.

The launch event was attended by several prominent names from the Telugu film industry. Sadanand presented the script to the team, while acclaimed filmmaker Sekhar Kammula switched on the camera for the muhurtham shot.  Adivi Sesh gave the ceremonial clap, and director Sri Saailu Kaampati directed the first shot. The makers have announced that regular shooting will begin shortly.

Produced by Puskur Ram Mohan Rao and Bharat Narang under the Sree Venkateswara Cinemas banner, the film is set in a small-town backdrop. The makers describe it as a heartwarming rustic entertainer that blends romance, humour and emotions, aiming to offer a breezy commercial entertainer with relatable characters.

Sumanth Prabhas will be seen playing an energetic young man in the film. While the title, leading lady and the rest of the cast are yet to be revealed, the project has already generated curiosity as it brings together a promising young actor and a director whose previous outing was appreciated for its rooted storytelling.
