At 94, veteran filmmaker Singeetham Srinivasa Rao is stepping back behind the camera for a new feature film titled Sing Geetham. Known for his pioneering contributions to Indian cinema with classics like the silent film Pushpak and the science-fiction benchmark Aditya 369, the director is now exploring the musical fantasy genre. 

The project is being backed by Nag Ashwin under the Vyjayanthi Movies and Swapna Cinema banners, marking a notable collaboration between the seasoned filmmaker and a modern production powerhouse. Sing Geetham is framed as a story that heavily intertwines music with magical realism. 

The narrative centers on a young man named Prathap, played by Ayaan, who travels to a remote and mysterious village in search of better prospects. There, he finds himself caught in a complex struggle between modern progress and the preservation of the past. The film also features Ahilya Bamroo and Shalini Kondepudi in prominent roles.

Devi Sri Prasad music and surreal setting helps the movie greatly. Singeetham has become a care of address for many creative and innovative films. Even at 94, he is ready to deliver such a brilliant film. Sing Geetham is releasing on 11th June, worldwide.
