Sardaar Comes Second In South India

on Apr 10, 2016

Written as disaster after the 1'o clock late night show itself, "Sardaar" hasn't got enough ammunition to continue its run at box office. However, Pawan Kalyan's stamina is something unimagined by any critic or trade pundit, because he gave a stellar performance.

After its four language release in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam, "Baahubali" has made up to 73 crores 'gross' in its Day One, becoming the Top Earner from South India all time. That is followed by Lingaa (39 Cr Telugu and Tamil), Shankar's I (36 Cr Telugu and Tamil) and then Srimanthudu (33 cr in Telugu and Tamil). Except Baahubali, Sardaar has beaten all, by amassing nearly 40.8 crores gross on Day one from Telugu and Hindi versions.

That pushes Sardaar to second slot in whole of South India among the Top 5 Grossers on First Day.
