Rashmika Mandanna is stepping into uncharted territory with Mysaa, a female-led action film that sees her take on some physically demanding sequences. Directed by Rawinder Pulle, the film revolves around a tribal woman's rebellion against the delay in getting justice. The makers unveiled the teaser at a grand event, where Rashmika received an enthusiastic response from the crowd.
Speaking at the event, Rashmika revealed how challenging the shoot has been, with a new task awaiting her every day. “I was shivering to go to sets of Mysaa as there was a new challenge everyday,” she said, adding that she had never attempted such heavy action despite performing dramatic roles in several films.

The actress revealed that the director asked her to jump from a 90-feet waterfall, stay underwater for eight hours a day and walk barefoot across harsh mountain terrains. She also joked about being pushed to her limits, saying, “My director and makers are just pushing me to the edge so much so that I am complaining to you all.” Rashmika added that she was willing to take on these challenges to bring her director's vision to life.
Rawinder Pulle praised Rashmika's dedication, revealing that she had sustained a hip injury and was currently recovering. The actress said Mysaa would be a raw, realistic action film with strong emotions. With 12 days of shooting still pending, the film is gearing up for a pan-India release on November 27. Ajay Saipureddy, Anil Sayyapureddy and Veerasai Gopa are producing the film on a lavish scale.
